UAE motorists and commercial fleet operators are bracing for potential further increases in retail fuel prices for November 2026, driven by elevated global crude oil benchmarks and soaring maritime freight costs. The official decision will be announced by the UAE Fuel Price Committee on October 31.
Current October rates stand at AED 4.40 per litre for Super 98, AED 4.28 for Special 95, AED 4.21 for E-Plus 91, and AED 4.80 per litre for Diesel. These figures follow three consecutive months of price hikes, with October prices jumping nearly 16% month-on-month following persistent international market disruptions.
Energy market analysts point to Brent crude holding firm above $110 per barrel as the primary driver behind the potential upward adjustment. In addition to base oil prices, geopolitical friction, security risks along major maritime shipping channels, and rising war-risk insurance premiums have significantly elevated regional oil transportation costs. The UAE continues to align domestic pump prices with global market benchmarks to reflect real-time production and supply chain dynamics.
