UAE airlines including Emirates, Etihad Airways, flydubai, and Air Arabia have updated their regional flight operations, with selective route cancellations and schedule adjustments. While intercontinental and long-haul networks through Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Zayed International Airport (AUH) continue to operate normally, regional services remain subject to active disruptions.
Carrier-by-Carrier Operational Breakdown:
- Emirates: Mainline long-haul flights connecting Dubai with Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Australasia are operating on schedule. However, Emirates’ codeshare operations with flydubai to and from Tel Aviv remain suspended until further notice. Regional routes to select destinations—including Basra, Damascus, and Peshawar—have seen status updates or temporary flight cancellations. Emirates is offering flexible rebooking options, including free date changes for affected passengers.
- flydubai: The carrier has suspended all flights between Dubai and Tel Aviv following a security review involving flight FZ1073. Additionally, flydubai has cancelled services on sensitive regional routes, including Beirut (FZ157) and Erbil (FZ209), as well as select regional sectors to Abha and Damascus.
- Etihad Airways: Operating core international routes out of Abu Dhabi with minor flight-level delays on regional sectors, including services to Riyadh and Kuwait. Etihad maintains direct flight connections between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv.
- Air Arabia: Reporting targeted schedule modifications, including temporary cancellations on select Sharjah–Kuwait and Sharjah–Bahrain flights, alongside Air Arabia Abu Dhabi route adjustments.
Aviation authorities and airport operators across DXB and AUH advise all passengers traveling through the UAE to verify their flight status directly with their respective airlines prior to proceeding to the airport.
