The UAE National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a comprehensive weather advisory forecasting a shift in atmospheric conditions across the country, with potential rainfall, fog formation, and dusty spells expected from October 16 through October 20.
According to the NCM’s latest meteorological bulletins, humid conditions will prevail over coastal and internal areas, increasing the likelihood of early morning mist and fog reducing horizontal visibility on major highways. Concurrently, cloud cover is projected to increase progressively over eastern and southern regions, carrying the potential for scattered rainfall and convective activity.
Fresh winds moving across open areas may also stir up dust and sand, prompting transportation and traffic authorities to urge motorists to exercise heightened caution during morning commutes. Marine conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are expected to remain generally moderate, turning rough at times offshore during active cloud formations.
