Premium Economy to be available on all daily flights between Dubai and Delhi as airline expands enhanced services across India

Dubai: Emirates will introduce its flagship Airbus A380 on the Dubai–Delhi route from 25 October 2026, making the Indian capital the third destination in India to be served by the airline’s iconic double-decker aircraft.

The A380 will operate on flights EK512/513 in a four-class configuration, complementing Emirates’ retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft, which also feature a four-class layout including Premium Economy, on its other three daily Delhi services.

With the introduction of the A380, Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin will be available on all flights between Dubai and Delhi, further expanding access to the airline’s latest product for travellers to and from India.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Emirates’ long-standing commitment to India is reflected in the continued rollout of our latest products, designed to enhance the travel experience. We are pleased to introduce our highly anticipated A380 services to Delhi, a vital gateway in our network, from October.”

He added: “Given the strong demand for travel to and from India, it is an honour to expand our A380 footprint in the country, with Delhi joining Mumbai and Bengaluru as our third A380 destination. We would like to thank the authorities for making this possible and value our continued partnership.”

Kazim noted that Emirates is also expanding the availability of Premium Economy across India, which will be offered to six destinations and on nearly half of the airline’s scheduled weekly flights to the country.

Expanded Premium Economy offering

From October, Premium Economy will be available on flights to six Indian cities:

On the Delhi route, Premium Economy will be available on the A380-operated EK513 and on Boeing 777-operated flights EK511, EK515 and EK517.

A350 to serve Kolkata

Emirates also announced that from 25 October, its daily Kolkata–Dubai service EK570/571 will be operated by the airline’s next-generation Airbus A350, which includes Premium Economy.

Together with flights EK572/573, operated five times weekly by a retrofitted four-class Boeing 777, Premium Economy will be available across all 12 weekly flights between Kolkata and Dubai.

By the end of October, Emirates will offer Premium Economy on:

As part of its expansion in India, Emirates recently opened travel retail stores in Delhi and Mumbai, allowing customers to access personalised travel support and information about the airline’s products and services.

Additional stores are planned for Hyderabad and Bengaluru, alongside a dedicated call centre in Mumbai.

Emirates said customers travelling from its nine Indian gateways will continue to enjoy regionally inspired menus, multilingual cabin crew, and access to more than 6,500 channels of entertainment, including content in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Gujarati and Kannada.

The airline currently serves Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram, operating 167 weekly flights between India and Dubai and connecting passengers to nearly 140 destinations across its global network.
