The Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates has officially issued a statement denying claims circulating in external media that Al Minhad Air Base was targeted or struck by missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
In a official communique reported by national news outlets, the Ministry characterized the reports as “completely false and unfounded,” clarifying that operational status at the installation remains undisturbed. The statement follows claims made by Iranian military channels asserting that explosive drones had been launched toward locations housing allied personnel at the base in response to earlier regional strikes.
The Ministry reaffirmed that the UAE Armed Forces maintain full operational readiness and are vigilant in defending the country’s sovereignty, airspace, and territorial security against any prospective threats. Additionally, military authorities separately noted that air defense surveillance intercepted a lone drone operating over territorial waters.
Emirati authorities urged the public and global media outlets to rely strictly on official news channels for verified updates and to refrain from spreading unverified rumors or misleading information regarding national security operations.
