The Sheikh Zayed Summer Festival in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi is doing something cool. They have a seven week program that is open to the public. This program is meant to help people feel more connected to their country find talent in young people, and get the community working together. The Sheikh Zayed Summer Festival will go on until August 23.

The festival is a deal because it brings together more than 30 groups from all over the country. These groups are from schools, colleges, the police, and sports teams. They will be giving over 3,000 classes to kids and teenagers who’re between six and 18 years old.

The Sheikh Zayed Summer Festival is being held in indoor spaces that are air conditioned. This way everyone can stay safe and cool during the summer. The festival is also trying to show how the old ways of the Emirates can work together with technology. The Sheikh Zayed Summer Festival is, about the Sheikh Zayed Summer Festival and what it can do for the community. Participating youth engage in specialized learning tracks encompassing artificial intelligence, web design, cybersecurity, drone engineering, and investigative reporting, alongside cultural sessions devoted to oral history recording, traditional craftsmanship, and local folk arts.

Organized under the patronage of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and supervised by Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the festival serves as a cornerstone for investing in future human capital. Strategic partners, including the National Library & Archives, the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, the Higher Colleges of Technology, and the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, have set up interactive pavilions offering practical training and immersive cultural experiences.

Alongside technical instruction, community organizations are emphasizing social responsibility and civic pride. Programs managed by the Emirates Foundation feature traditional coffee majlis etiquette workshops and community service projects aimed at instilling volunteerism in young citizens. Simultaneously, the UAE Cyber Security Council is conducting digital safety briefings to increase awareness regarding online risks.

By converting school holiday downtime into a dynamic platform for skill acquisition, state officials aim to prepare the next generation for a knowledge-driven economy while maintaining deep roots in Emirati history and societal values.
