The service allows passengers to confirm Smart Gates eligibility via Pocket Flights app or terminal QR codes before passport control at DXB
Dubai Airports has launched a pre-verification service for its Smart Gates, developed in collaboration with the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA).
The Smart Gates Pre-Eligibility service allows passengers to instantly confirm their eligibility before arriving at passport control, helping them navigate the airport more efficiently and enhancing their overall experience at Dubai International Airport (DXB).
Dubai Airports said on its official X account:
“Every improvement at Dubai International Airport is designed around the objective of making the journey through the airport more seamless for our guests.”
It added:
“Developed in collaboration with GDRFA Dubai, the new Smart Gates Eligibility Pre-Check gives travellers instant confirmation of their Smart Gates eligibility before they reach passport control, making it easier to navigate their journey through DXB.”
The Smart Gates Eligibility Pre-Check is available through the Pocket Flights app or by scanning the QR codes located across all terminals and gates.
