Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid honours Sheikh Zayed on the 60th anniversary of his accession, praising his legacy as UAE founder who built a nation and shaped humanity
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has paid tributes to late Sheikh Zayed, the founder of the UAE, on the 60th anniversary of his accession.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, he said: “Life has taught me that Zayed was not just a leader and a commander… but a great idea… There are great leaders who build nations… and there are thinkers and reformers who build a human being… Zayed built a nation… and built a human… and forged a deep relationship between the human and the homeland. And Zayed will remain immortal in the memory of the homeland and in the conscience of the human…”
