Convective clouds are expected over eastern and southern areas, but the country will also see a rise in temperature

Dubai: Parts of the UAE could see showers over the next two days as an unstable weather system brings cloud build-up across the country, although temperatures are also set to climb to 48°C.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology, an extension of a surface low pressure system from the east, accompanied by an extension of an upper air low pressure system, will lead to cloud formation in different parts of the UAE.

On Wednesday, the weather will be partly cloudy, with convective clouds causing rain in the eastern and southern parts of the UAE. Winds reaching speeds of 40km/h will also blow dust and sand in open areas, while the sea conditions will remain slight to moderate.

This weather pattern is expected to continue through Friday, with the possibility of convective cloud formation and rain over eastern and southern parts of the UAE.

Temperatures are also set to increase across the country. Maximum temperatures will range between 42°C and 47°C in coastal areas, while the temperature in the internal parts of the country is expected to reach 48°C.

Here is the complete breakdown of minimum and maximum temperatures across the Emirates for tomorrow (July 15):
