Bank says systems have operated normally for four days as work continues to restore mobile app services for remaining customers

Dubai: Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) said it has continued intensive efforts over the past week to address a technical issue that affected some of its banking services, confirming that all core banking systems and services are now operating normally and stably.

The bank said the issue resulted in intermittent disruptions to certain banking services over several days, preventing some customers from accessing specific services through the mobile application, particularly transfers and payments.

In a statement issued on Monday, ADCB stressed that customers’ balances and banking data remained fully secure and protected throughout the disruption period.

The bank said no compromise or disruption to customer information occurred, adding that customer data remains protected by the highest security standards.

Services operating normally

ADCB stated: “Today we can confirm that all our core banking systems and services are operating normally and stably, and have maintained their full performance without any interruption over the past four days, with high usage levels and record numbers of transactions.”

According to the bank, services operating normally include:

The bank said services through the ADCB mobile application have been fully restored for a large proportion of customers.

It added that work is continuing to restore services for the remaining customers affected by the disruption.

Corporate banking unaffected

ADCB also confirmed that services provided to corporate customers continued to operate normally and stably across all channels during the past four days.

The bank said it remains focused on ensuring service stability while completing the restoration process for all customers.
