Initiative introduces specialized career tracks and business incubators to strengthen AI adoption and digital economy leadership

Dubai Chambers has announced the formation of the Executive Committee for Assistive Artificial Intelligence (AI).

This move aligns with the strategic initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, to support the transition toward “Agent AI” in Dubai’s private sector.

The committee aims to accelerate the adoption of assistive AI technologies across the private sector, enhance the readiness of the business community to keep pace with global technological transformations, and strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for the digital economy and future industries.

The committee recently held its first virtual meeting, chaired by His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Chairman of Dubai Chambers and Chairman of the Executive Committee. The meeting was also attended by His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee.

Competitiveness

His Excellency Engineer Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri said: “We are committed to implementing the directives of the wise leadership aimed at strengthening Dubai’s global leadership, enhancing the competitiveness of the private sector, and increasing its readiness to keep pace with rapid technological transformations. The transformation program toward assistive artificial intelligence reflects Dubai’s proactive vision in adopting advanced technologies and leveraging them to build a more resilient, sustainable, and innovative economy.”

He added: “This initiative represents a significant milestone in the development of the emirate’s business environment by enabling companies to benefit from advanced smart solutions and enhance their operational and administrative capabilities. This will boost productivity and open broader opportunities for growth and expansion in future economic sectors.”

His Excellency further noted: “The Executive Committee is working to establish a comprehensive implementation framework for the program. This includes designing specialized training pathways for councils and business groups affiliated with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, developing supportive incubators for companies specializing in assistive AI solutions, and strengthening collaboration with government and private sector partners to provide the necessary enablers to accelerate digital transformation across economic sectors in the emirate.”

A qualitative step

His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama affirmed that Dubai, under the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, continues to strengthen its position as a global hub for shaping the future by adopting transformative technologies.

He said: “This initiative reflects a proactive approach aimed at reshaping work models to keep pace with global developments and anticipate future changes. It represents a qualitative step toward building an advanced digital economy based on knowledge and technology.”

He added: “It creates a dynamic and intelligent environment that enhances efficiency, accelerates innovation, supports the development of advanced AI solutions, and promotes more flexible and sustainable operating models. This will increase the private sector’s readiness to leverage future applications, support startup growth, and reinforce Dubai’s role as a global platform for developing and exporting future digital technologies and solutions.”

Committee responsibilities

The committee is responsible for approving specialized training pathways in assistive AI, designing and establishing incubators for companies in the sector to support Dubai’s transformation, and promoting the development of businesses that create and utilize assistive AI solutions.

It will also focus on knowledge dissemination and building institutional capabilities within the Dubai Chambers ecosystem, thereby enhancing private sector competitiveness and reinforcing Dubai’s leadership in adopting future technologies.
